Dance Anatomy and Kinesiology; Principles and exercises for improving technique and avoiding common injuries (2007)

This visually rich text is a valuable resource for learning key bones, joints, muscles and movement analysis. Common alignment and technique errors are also discussed in addition to strength exercises, flexibility exercises, and cues that can be used for their improvement. Although many of the examples are dance-specific, the applied nature of this text and its many illustrations make it an essential reference for Pilates, Yoga and Fitness instructors, as well as Dance educators and dedicated dancers.
