Walking Biomecahnics and Pilates

Observing your clients walk can provide valuable insights into strength, flexibility and postural imbalances. This workshop will present key principles of gait and gait terminology, as well as help you develop the observation and analytic skills that will allow you to understand gait and its practical implications for Pilates program design.  Participants will learn classic and novel Pilates exercises designed to promote functional gait, improve common walking problems, and help prevent injuries.
